Specialization in Aesthetic Art

Aesthetics as a profession aims at the well-groomed appearance of the individual, maintaining and improving the beauty and health of the face and body. The aesthetic art graduate:
• Treats clients at the beauty salon, in a suitably designed space, with separate cabins (face, body, make-up) with modern machines and special cosmetic preparations.

Its main tasks are:
• before each of her actions, she carefully examines the client’s skin, takes his history, and after diagnosing his skin type, chooses his treatment method.

AESTHETIC QUALIFICATIONS

The Esthetician should be:
• pleasant, kind, patient, sociable, secretive, friendly.
• to be constantly updated and constantly monitor the development of technology and science.

THE AESTHETIC ART GRADUATE

During the studies through a course of theoretical and laboratory content, with the knowledge and skills he acquires, he is able to:
• Performs simple cosmetic procedures (simple facial cleansing, temporary face-body hair removal, exfoliation, different types of face-body massage)
• Applies special face-body treatments
• Installs and operates beauty machines
• Does face-body makeup (morning, afternoon, evening, bridal, theater, television, cinema, special effects, face-body painting)

She applies extremity treatments, manicures (simple, semi-permanent), pedicures and onychoplasty techniques.

Qualifications

The graduate of our specialty receives two degrees:
1. Level 4 “Aesthetic Art” Degree.
2. High school diploma, absolutely equivalent to the General High School diploma.
EPAL graduates can optionally attend a nine (9) month Apprenticeship program to upgrade their degree to level 5αθητείας εννέα(9) μηνών ώστε να αναβαθμίσουν το πτυχίο τους σε επίπεδο 5

CONTINUATION OF STUDIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

At A.EI, A.S.PAI.TE, Higher Military Schools for Non-Commissioned Officers, Police Schools, and Merchant Marine Academy Schools with special entrance exams.
